ABOUT US

A Little History: For our first time visitors, Tiger’s Eye Productions Society is a register British Columbia, Canada nonprofit, which began in September 1999, and officially registered in March 2000. In August 2002, after a successful three-year run, we have applied for federal registration as a charity. Tiger’s Eye Productions Society is also known as Tiger’s Eye Society or TEP.

Our mandate is to provide ongoing community information dissemination, referral services, counseling support, educational and employment training to people with disabilities – where the person’s primary disability is physical, or he/she has a learning disability or mental disorder (not mental illness). TEP is probably best known in the community for its Disability Seminars on “Rebates, Refunds, Discounts and Services”.

TEP receives no government grant funding in order to better serve our Tiger Team members and remain an arm’s length away from legislative decisions. TEP raises funds through its seminars and memberships, and as well, welcomes outside donations. Memberships are available for individuals, companies, and nonprofits.

Tiger’s Eye Society is closely affiliated with TigerWatch and Rave! Entertainment, which are not-for-profit companies. Our fairly unique concept is our generated profits help fund the Tiger’s Eye Society disability programs, while providing work-at-home employment opportunities for the disabled.

TigerWatch provides social, business and competitive intelligence research and analysis on global, and North American-specific issues. For example, in second quarter 2002, TigerWatch provided a critical analysis on British Columbia Provincial Bills 26 and 27, “Employment and Assistance Act” and “Employment for Persons with Disabilities Act”. TigerWatch offers “QuickSearch”™, 1-4 hours of research turned around quickly for affordable rates.

Rave! Entertainment covers arts and entertainment events primarily in Greater Vancouver, BC, but also coverage of trip possibilities for entertainment events throughout the Pacific Coast (Canada, US, Mexico), plus Alberta, Hawai’i, Alaska, Nevada, and Arizona. Rave! offers reviewing opportunities (media passes) to low income people with disabilities whenever possible, and also receives a number of donated passes to use for fundraising and door prizes.
